Dearly beloved, how has been your prayers.I hope you got the prayer points that I posted yesterday. http://pastorsamprayer.blogspot.com

Today before we say the prayer again, please let us follow the recommendation of the Holy Spirit in 1 Tim 2:1-3 which requires us to FIRST OF ALL pray for our leaders and all men. Thus let us prayer for our Nation.

It is wrong for Christians to insult leaders and speak evil of our land. If we were actually doing our works by praying for them, things would have been better. Let us arise and pray. Drop the idea of complaining and grumbling. If things are not going on right we are to blame. After all, we are the shoulders of Christ on which the government rests. Some of us think we need to get some governmental position before we can make necessary change. But that is not necessarily God's method. He says our weapon is not canal. Our weapon is the Word and prayers. You don't have to be a senator or president to do that. God still needs A MAN. Will you be that man? If you will prayer God will move on our behalf. Even if you were the only one you can make a Change. God did not say we have to be many. He says the effectual fervent prayer of A righteous man  availed much (James 5:16). So brethren let us pray.
PRAYER FOR OUR NATION:
Prayer for Mercy
Meditation and confession
1 Chronicles 7:13-15
13If I shut up heaven that there be no
rain, or if I command the locusts to
devour the land, or if I send
pestilence among my people; 14 If my
people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek my face, and turn from
their wicked ways; then will I hear
from heaven, and will forgive their
sin, and will heal their land. 15Now
mine eyes shall be open, and mine
ears attent unto the prayer that is
made in this place.
Hebrews 8:12
12For I will be merciful to their
unrighteousness, and their sins and
their iniquities will I remember no
more.

Take some time to worship and thank God for our country. Make your daily confession and say the following prayers:

1. Oh Lord our Father, Great
and mighty God thou God
that keep His covenant and
watch over His word to
perform it. Our country has
sinned greatly against You.
We pray in your great
mercy that you will forgive
us in the name of our Lord
Jesus.
2. We and our leaders have
rebelled against your words
and requirements. But we
trust in your mercy. Your
church now pray, Father
forgive our iniquities
3. So much innocent blood
has been shared. We have
enthroned corruption and
avarice in every look and
cranny of this country.
Other vices speak against
us which You Lord are
aware of. In your great
mercy however, we ask that
you will forgive us and blot
out our transgression
4. Father we do not claim any
merit of our own. We do not
say that we deserve your
mercy. However, for your
name sake and for the
integrity of your word, have
mercy and forgive us
5. Have mercy upon us Oh
Lord and establish us
forever.
6. Your church that should
maintain your standard have
not been faithful in this
great calling. We have
enthroned Balial in various
of our local churches and in
our individual hears. But in
your infinite mercy we ask
that you will forgive us and
heal our backsliding
7. Thou Lord that brought
order to the chaotic earth in
the beginning, we pray that
you will have mercy on us
and rearrange every
disorganized thing in this
world of ours. Gen 1.2-3
8. We have brought ourselves
into bondage by reason of
our pride and lusts. We
have tried to help ourselves
but the more we did the
worst things got for us. You
are our only Hope oh thou
God of Abraham, Isaac and
Israel. Have mercy on us
and save us.
9. Arise, O Lord, stretch out
your forth you great and
mighty hand and deliver us
from horrible pits and miry
clays of life. Psa. 40.2
10. Father hear the prayer of
your servants, even the
supplications of our mouth
and cause your face to
shine on our land
11. Save us oh Lord from our
impending doom. Let us not
be judged as we deserve
but let mercy prevail over
judgment in Nigeria.
12. Oh Lord hear, Oh Lord
Forgive, Oh Lord hearken
and hurry to save us

Now go to the session for your personal prayer and prayer fervently more than before.
Bless you
